The Orioles placed top prospect Dylan Bundy on the seven-day disabled list with a right lat muscle strain on Thursday. Bundy suffered the injury after his last start with Class A Advanced Frederick while running in the outfield.

Bundy, who underwent Tommy John surgery last year, has had an up-and-down season with Frederick. He has posted a 4.78 ERA in six games for the Keys this season while striking out 15 and walking 13. Baltimore has limited him to 75 pitches per outing.

Frederick's season ends on Sept. 1, so this could mark the end of Bundy's year. The righty had allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts prior to the injury.
