O's-Red Sox postponed; twin bill set for Saturday

BOSTON -- Friday's Orioles-Red Sox game at Fenway Park has been postponed due to inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Arthur, with the two teams now scheduled to play a day-night doubleheader on Saturday.

The first game will begin at approximately 1:05 p.m. ET, and tickets for Friday's game will be valid for Game 1. Boston will send Jon Lester to the hill.

The second game, which will see Orioles third baseman Manny Machado activated after serving a five-game suspension, will start at its regularly scheduled 7:15 p.m. time. The Red Sox will start right-hander John Lackey for Game 2.

The Orioles' official starters have yet to be announced.
