BALTIMORE -- The Orioles lost a replay challenge in the 10th inning of their game against Oakland on Friday night at Camden Yards on what was the potential game-winning run.

With the game tied at 3 and one out in the 10th, Adam Jones faced Fernando Abad with two runners on, including Nick Markakis at second base. Jones singled to right and Markakis was waved around third. Brandon Moss quickly picked up the ball and threw to catcher Derek Norris, who applied the tag as Markakis stretched out to touch home plate.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter quickly came out of the dugout and asked for the review, which was granted automatically, since the game was beyond the seventh inning. After a brief review, the call stood.
