Orioles recall RHP Jair Jurrjens from Triple-A Norfolk

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated 2B BRIAN ROBERTS from the 60-day disabled list and designated RHP JAIR JURRJENS for assignment off of the 25-man roster.

Roberts, 35, was originally placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 5 with a right hamstring strain. He was 5-for-12 with a double, run scored, RBI and stolen base in the first three games of the season.

Jurrjens, 27, pitched 2.1 scoreless innings for the Orioles last night. He made one other appearance for the Orioles this season, allowing four earned runs in 5.0 innings in a no-decision against Tampa Bay on May 18.
