Dominican Republic reliever Pedro Strop was in the middle of it all during the top half of the eighth inning in Monday's 4-1 semifinal win over the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic.
Strop nabbed a ground ball off the bat of the Netherlands' Andrelton Simmons to begin the inning, before scooping up another grounder off the bat of Jurickson Profar.
Then Roger Bernadina singled off Strop with two outs, but Wladimir Balentien then grounded out softly to Strop for the third out.
Tossing only 11 pitches in the inning, Strop got each batter out on 95-mph fastballs.
The Dominican Republic will now face Puerto Rico on Tuesday night at 8 ET on MLB Network and ESPN Deportes for the Classic title.
