O's set to host Fan Appreciation Celebration
BOSTON -- The Orioles will hold their annual Fan Appreciation Celebration during their last series of the season when they host the Boston Red Sox for three games beginning Monday, Sept. 26.

The celebration includes opportunities for fans to be randomly chosen to win prizes by "liking" the Orioles on Facebook or by entering the Orioles Fan Appreciation Celebration Sweepstakes on Prizes include a trip for two to Spring Training in Sarasota, Fla.; a spot in the Orioles Dream Week in Sarasota; VIP experiences at the ballpark in 2012; Orioles memorabilia and more.

Throughout the series, fans will be selected at random to win unique Orioles experiences, including on-field visits, Fan of the Game contests, the popular "Shirts Off Our Backs" promotion -- in which players autograph game-worn jerseys -- and the chance to take the field with Orioles players for the national anthem. Fans are encouraged to wear Orioles clothing and arrive at the ballpark early each day.


During each game of the series, nine fans will be randomly selected to take the field and stand with an Orioles player during the national anthem. One randomly selected fan will also be chosen for a chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch during the final two games of the series.
