Nationals at the plate: Dmitri Young went 1-for-1 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Ronnie Belliard, Chris Snelling Austin Kearns and Young all had sacrifice flies.

Orioles at the plate: Kevin Millar broke a 4-4 tie with a double off Jon Rauch in the eighth inning. Aubrey Huff had and RBI ground out, while Ramon Hernandez had a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning. Corey Patterson hit a home run in the fifth inning, while Mike Cervenak tied the score at 4 with a single that brought home Jason Dubois.

Nationals on the mound: Left-hander Matt Chico pitched 5 2/3 innings and gave up four runs on four hits. He walked three batters and struck out one.

Orioles on the mound: Right-hander Jaret Wright pitched 4 1/3 innings and gave up four runs. Reliever Brian Burres didn't give up a run in 1 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked one.

Grapefruit League records: Orioles 15-13-1; Nationals 11-16-3.

Up next: The Nationals travel back to Washington, D.C., to play their final exhibition game of the spring against the Orioles at Robert F. Kennedy Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET. Washington right-hander Jason Bergmann will face Baltimore left-hander Adam Loewen.
